I'm using a 2012 Mac Mini running 10.8.3 and Frodo 12.1. I've gotten all my movies and TV shows straight, all the art work in place and the titles correct showing the correct names etc. I was watching an episode of a TV show and went to look at my movies and XBMC asked me if I wanted to update the database. I did and when I went to select a movie (the list of movies and art work all showed) it said there was no movie by that name would I like to delete it from the library? A quick check showed it had lost everything and wanted to remove everything from the database. I checked finder and the drives showed up fine...no error message about la drive being disconnected. Several times when I went to close XBMC it hung and I had to use Activity Monitor to force it close.
XBMC has added phantom sources. Anyone encountered this?
After restoring the original XBMC folder in Library/Application Support I was able to remove the phantom library items and clean it up. Puzzling.
