about 1/4" cut off from new Sharp TV

I have 12.1 (frodo), and been using it fine with a no-name brand 37" via hdmi fine for a while. Just got a Sharp LC 40" (LX 830H) and about 1/4" of my XBMC screen is cut off all around.

Using Confluence.

I reset my monitor settings on the Mac Display prefs, and it sees it just fine.

Might be a mac problem - but I didn't think so, so I posted it here.
Please let me know if you need debug as well.
