Ok, so here is my setup:
3 ghz core 2 duo
8 GB ddr2
Ubuntu 12.04.2 64 bit (running KDE)
Nvidia GT 240
So, I have my 42 inch flat screen hooked up to the DVI out via a DVI-HDMI cable. This is what XBMC plays on. The other VGA cables is hooked up to a smaller 20 inch flat screen, which I work on while watching xbmc on the big screen.
Now, I am currently controlling XBMC using my wireless logitch rumblepad 2, which is plug and play with XBMC (sweet), but whenever XBMC is not in focus, i cannot control it.
So, what I am trying to do, is bind my logitech controller to XBMC, so even when XBMC's window is not in focus, it can still be controlled via the controller. This would be handy so that my girlfriend can change whatever she wants, while I am working on the other screen.
Any thoughts?
