Hi,
Got an issue with Frodo I believe.
I have been cleansing up all my old content filenames with “theRenamer” and “Media Companion”
Stacked content would show as double. Fan and post art wouldn’t show.
Changing the format to this worked for stacking (and hence, correct whole movie length when playing);
Smb://server/movies/movieName CD1.avi
Smb://server/movies/movieName CD2.avi
The issue I’m having that I can’t find others having (due to tricky search terms, or im a spaz) is that with stacking working, the fan/cover art isn’t working.
Structure of non working;
Smb://server/movies/movieName CD1.avi
Smb://server/movies/movieName CD1.nfo
Smb://server/movies/movieName CD1.tbn
Smb://server/movies/movieName CD1-fanart.jpg
Smb://server/movies/movieName CD2.avi
To get XBMC to see the fan/poster art, I need to remove the “CD1” from the art names, as well as change the tbn to a jpg, like;
Smb://server/movies/movieName CD1.avi
Smb://server/movies/movieName CD1.nfo
Smb://server/movies/movieName-poster.jpg
Smb://server/movies/movieName-fanart.jpg
Smb://server/movies/movieName CD2.avi
I assume the “CD1” renaming is a xbmc bug, as the older version worked. I don’t get why it doesn't like the tbn in my case… an issue of my ignorance I imagine.
Doing the above manually suck, and I know split movies are from the “burning them to compact discs” days still…
Can provide more information if others are interested. Work colleagues get this issue on their builds too.
