No matter what scraper I deploy for both Album as well as Artist view I'm unable to update or correct information in the Library.
I have also noticed that XBMC sets a random default thumbnail for unknown artists.
I no langer can manually search for artist information.
Artist.nfo pointing to allmusic, musicbrainz, or theaudiodb does not update the artist information accordingly.
Please advise, I have spent weeks trying to get my library working properly, it was erased by unruly plugins 3 times. I just want to stop endlessly fiddling with the software and correcting erroneous metadata, and enjoy the media instead.
Please do not tell me to erase the database and start over again. I'm at wits end, and frankly, pretty exhausted. FWIW, I have little problems with video and tv-series and have meticulously tagged all my music files ever since I started digitizing my collection. So please, if anyone has any advise how to solve this nightmare, I'd be _very grateful.
