probleme with changing the subtitles with remote

hi there
i have this remote remote which is not a great remote control especially for the subtitles

it works like this you press this button
and you get on screen only one choice of subtitle (display and not displayed that's it)
i'd want to have the choice to change the subtiltes and switch between the languages this is for learning the languages
in english or german or italian
i love to learn to speak in many languages
so is it possible to have more than one languages displayed on screen or should i change the remote itself?
i heard good remotes control but i wanted to have your advices before buying anything
