Hi Folks,

I did a quick search and not too sure if many have either seen these issues or had found the cause but Ill go ahead and post the solution in case anyone is looking

Description:
Upgraded from a previous XBMC version to Frodo Release version. (Windows 7, unknown if affects other configs.)

First up since updating to Frodo on a ZBox running Windows 7 and Event Ghost the remote no longer scrolled left or right.
The update was a simple double click to install from release version 10.1 Atlantis.
Solution copied back in the backup of the remote.xml

Second is a Skin issue I found.
Rig was a custom Windows 7 Intel E8400 and Intel DG45FC.
I downloaded Metropolis skin to try after updating from Release version of Eden was playing about with the skins themes etc.
Next day came home powered up and the supplied Frodo Confluence skin had no main page backgroundConfused just black everything else looked fine, I first though I had found a bug relating to custom background and not setting a path and having it enalbed this was not the case.
Played around for a nother 5 mins and low and beholf if you change the Theme on the metropolis skin to e.g. Theme 3/7 and then reselect / load the Confluence skin the |Confluence skins backgrounds are setup to blank/null.

Solution Go back and load up/select the Metropolis skin change the skin theme to 1/7 default (the colour scheme should probably auto set to 1/7 aswell on the next line down.)

So wait for it to refresh and then load up your Confluence skin all should be looking fine again in Confluence! Wink

Maybe this is an issue with a particular skin or shared variables in the scripts/xml files I dont know much about under the hood but hope it help anyone.

Third and final was sounds, both on a system with stereo jack setup and the other HDMI and reciever.
Solution: If your setups sound seems to have stopped working then goto settings and hardware and reinitialise the audio hardware setting by scrolling to a different audio setting and back to what it should be or was set to.

Regards,
Nick.
