Have finally build my own HTPC. When I builded the PC, sometimes some frames where dropped, stuttering videos etc.
I thought I had a solution for this problem, and ordered a Broadcom BCM970015 (XBMC would have support for it). Today I installed the card, and videos are stuttering even more then before?
The first minute of movie, over 600 drops (CHD-H264), while FF-H264 has only 8 to 10.
Installed latest drivers (3.6.9) on Windows 7 SP1 x86, but still the same problem.
My system:
Intel DN2800MT (1.86GHz) with Intel GMA 3650
Mushkin Atlas mSata 60GB SSD
4GB Kingston mem
Sony Bluray slimline
CrystalHD BCM970015
XBMC Frodo 12.0 Stable Release
XBMC is starting instead of explorer.exe due to changes made in local GPO.
I don't get it anymore, the CrystalHD should be better then the onboard GPU, but still there are huge frame drops.
Does anyone know how to solve this, so I can use this CrystalHD without any problems?
Looked all over the forum, have tried the Intel settings as mentioned in some posts, but the problem still persists.
Help is appreciated.
