I am completely stumped (or stupid!!) I am running XBMC on an iPad2 with ios 6.1.2. I have installed XBMC Backup and have had some success with it in the past. However, since I re jailbroke the iPad a couple of days ago, I have been unable to make a new backup. When configuring the path, I see these options.
1) NFS Takes me to the first level of the NAS but won't go into the structure
2) SMB Take me to the Windows network: Allows drill down to the NAS directory structure but no files are saved OR Offers "Workgroup" but "connection refused"
3) UPnP Shows the various media servers
4) Zeroconf Offers SMB connection by direct ip address and allows drill down into the NAS directory structure. However, the file is still not saved after the application completes
I would like to back up to my PC but there is a mismatch between "Workgroup" seen on the iPad and the "Homegroup" on my PC. When I select "Workgroup" I get the time-out and cannot connect messages. Why does XBMC backup see a "Workgroup"?
Could someone please help me fathom this?
Thanks
