Finally updated my Acer Revo 1600 two days ago with a clean Frodo XBMCBuntu and everything was pretty much working fine till now.
I have a Ralink RT5370 USB wireless dongle that I was able to install drivers and connect to the network without too much issue.
I'm able to SSH in, setup SMB share to transfer files over, and use Ember Media Manager to manage files on my external drives through it.
My problem is two things, since I upgraded I'm back to around 1.5-2 MB/s file transfers when I had 4-5 MB/s when I was back on a Dharma XBMCLive.
Other thing started in the past couple hours and that is it's doesn't seem to be able to connect to the internet. I can still do SSH and EMM but weather and having it scrape without asking me skip reaching the internet since it reach the servers.
I'm still a bit of a linux newb so I checked around and nothing seems to be really working so I'm asking here if anyone have any ideas.
