Transfering movies onto PC?

Hi all.....

I have the 1st gen. Apple TV with quite a few movies on it that were downloaded through Icefilms and NaviX.
Rather than delete them all I would like to transfer them over onto my PC for storage or for burning.
I cannot find any info as to how to do this.

Not sure if it can be done through Itunes, or maybe through SSH??
Not sure if Itunes will recognize non-purchased movies.

Any info appreciated!
