The reason why I'm asking for this is the emergence of cheap gyroscope based eBay air mice / remotes which have a full set of cursor buttons but unfortunately have their OK and return buttons mapped to the left and right clicks of the mouse. By remapping these buttons via the keymap it's possible to simulate "keyboard mode" but the mouse cursor still shows up on the screen as soon as one moves the remote - which is pretty annoying.
If the mouse is disabled from XBMC's settings the button presses are not sent.
This is why it would be great if this directive or some setting would hide the mouse cursor.
