Hi all
I have terrible playback issues on a new install; the video judders at about a frame per second, across various file types, HD mkv (264 / vc1) or mp4
It's a brand new install of Frodo on a new install of Win8 Pro. The system specs should be OK, I thought: i3 2100, AMD 7750, 8G RAM. As a brand new system it has the latest AMD drivers, latest drivers for everything, actually, even a new motherboard BIOS (please don't blame that and the system can definitely play the media files, they are fine in Potplayer or MPC.
XBMC System Info recognises the gfx card and its drivers, and I tried forcing DXVA rather than autoselecting rendering, tried true fullscreen instead of windowed, tried toggling the sync settings. Is there something else I can do?
