xbmcgui.ListItem - Proxy support ?

Hello

I'm passing an m3u8 URL to ListItem which works well (using a VPN for France).

But..... I want to use an HTTP Proxy rather than VPN, so I need to pass HTTP Proxy details to the ListItem.

How do I do this please ? I can see how to do this using urllib2, etc which is fine for the initial URLs, but I want to just pass this directly to the ListItem for the stream.

Can someone point me to the documentation for ListItem, worked examples, etc ? Anything
