AMD A4 3400 what am I missing?

I want to replace my Acer Revo R3700 with something which has relatively low power consumption that will act as an XBMC machine and also as my download machine running sickbeard and sabnzbd and as a mini server as I've run out of physical room in my main pc to add anymore hard drives.
This 2.7ghz dual core chip seems to fit the bill but I have the feeling I'm missing something because its ridiculously cheap and I never see it mentioned anywhere when people mention HTPC builds,
so what am I missing?
