How to add this Album Art mod to Neon?

Hey guys, the one thing I really miss from my old win7mc box is the way it handled music. I loved it! I really loved the Album Art waterfall playing in the background while music played - it looked slick and less early-2000s than the winamp-like visualizers XBMC uses. And through constant searching i've finally stumbled upon this thread from 2010:

I'm wondering how to get this to work in my Neon skin on XBMCBuntu. I have ZERO coding experience, and am mildly comfortable around linux (getting better daily)

Finding Neon was the single best upgrade I've made to my HTPC in the last year, that thread mentions its use on Transparency. While Transparency is a nice skin it's not as much my flavour as Neon is.
