RaspBMC (and openELEC) not saving International settings

I tried this on OpenELEC before and i had the same issue. My language defaults to Spanish. I can change it to English, but the chage doesn't get retained across reboots. Once i reboot the Pi, the language is Spanish again.

Bug? Something i do wrong?
