Linuxmint ext hard drive location

Hi everyone, I swapped over to linuxmint from windows last night and well let's just say its been a bit of a learning curve

But basically I've spent hours trying to find my hard drive. I have an extra internal one which it finds, then when I plug my 2tb ext in xbmc recognises it and it pops up saying hitachi and if I got to add libary it spots it, however when I go to add video files- add source it's nowhere to be seen

So yeah is there a simple way to mount it like windows with letter prefix's or do you have to go folder diving??
