I realize the device is not on the compatibility list and I'm a complete noob here. Although, I expected to get further along before failure, so I'm wondering if there's something obvious that I should look at to get this software to run.
I have a UG007 which runs dual ARM A9 processors and a quad core GPU running Jellybean. I can provide more details, if needed.
I happened upon XBMC and thought I'd just try it. I downloaded and installed the app. Upon first run, I saw an initial setup screen, then it just dropped to the home screen. Now whenever I run it, it comes up black for a few seconds then disappears (back to home). I see the app is still running and anytime I switch to it, it just does the same thing.
I thought I'd look for some log file to see what's going on but several of the files mentioned here seem to exist on the filesystem. The device is "out of the box" and doesn't have an sdcard, would that cause failure since some files are listed as going on that mount?
I guess I'm not surprised at a failure since it's not probably a supported device yet but I sort of expected the app to at least launch and run, even if no media played. If anyone has any ideas, I'm happy to provide info or try some things out on this device.
Thanks for any assistance! Cheers!
