Mac Mini 2011 (MAC OS) and Frodo- Bit-streaming possible?

I have read and heard that you cannot bit stream with mac mini in OSX.

XBMC frodo now allows for HD Audio and I was wondering if I can do that with Mac mini 2011 in OSX or if it is still an OS limitation?

Anybody know?
