After making an SD using the Window installer, my pi stops during first boot of Raspmc right after finding eth0. There are forur or five messages "Starting Discovery...", then apparently a timeout and a full screen message asking me to checK my internet connection, proxy server, etc.
I believe this is the installer or kernel searching for a DCHP server, which does not exist on my all-static IP network. Is there a way to pre-configure eth0 to use my usual network settings and a static IP?
