Minimum 1080p Capable PC?

What is the minimum recommended processor for XBMC 1080p decoding? Core Duo? Core 2 Duo?

Would it be the same for Windows / Linux / OSX?

I'm thinking on getting and old Mac Mini, and was just wondering.
