OK, I hesitate for my first post to be scraping issues, but here goes.
Generally scraping is fine. I have DVDs and Blu-Rays ripped to files by DVD-FAB (100% quality, so some are pretty big), and about 50% of the scrapes are perfect - identification, thumbnails, etc all good. The problem is that it refuses to see some at all. I have the full log at the bottom of the post, but it is long, so here are some snips.
1) Starting the scraping process:
"Attack the Block" is in the database as a movie, it finds it perfectly. "Australia" is not - it looks in the directory, and sees no change, so does nothing. No obvious errors in the log about permissions or anything - I have checked these, and opened up my NAS box to pretty much everyone....
2) If I go to the "files" menu and select Australia, it plays perfectly. The start of the log is below:
So it can clearly see into the Australia directory, and find the video. However, if (in the files menu) I select movie information, then I get a dialogue "No video files found in this path".
The full log is here:

Thanks in advance!
