Update Library

Just recently for no apparent reason the update library function has gone wrong.

Now when I update the library it finds new titles added to the directory but they don't show up in the Library.

So it scans for new content...downloads the movie information but doesn't add it to the library. If I run the scan again it finds the content again over and over but it doesn't update the library

Any ideas?
