A lot of people turn to XBMC to "cut the cord" from subscription TV. Two of the most desired features are a PVR for live content and a large back library for everything else.
The PVR feature gives users an EPG for OTA and clearQAM content.
The PseudoTV plug-in gives users an EPG for all their stored titles.
I think it would be awesome if these two EPGs could be merged together. Channels 1-100 would be from the live feed. Channels 101+ would consist of scripted channels. The transition would appear seamless to the end user. Switch from channel "100" to "101" and the only differences you'd notice are:
1) The lack of commercials
2) The ability to skip *forward* instead of backward
It would be a killer feature of XBMC that no other program/device would offer. What do you guys think? Yay or Nay?
