Android Remote App doesn't work?

I installed the "Official XBMC Remote" app but can't get it to work.

If I go to the url:port from a web browser on my PC, it seems to come up OK. If I go to the remote app and try to connect, I get an error stating:
I/O Exception (java.io.FileNotFoundException)
http://...command=GetSystemInfo (120)

Is the app broken? Do I have a setting wrong somewhere? This was one of the main features I wanted to use with Xbmc.
