I have been having problems with the music thumbnails on nightly builds since late August. Since we are near Frodo beta stage I decided to test it again and unfortunately the problem is still not fixed.
A lot of the images in my music library are just not displaying and a placeholder is shown instead. All the images in my collection work with older builds and it is not skin related.
I cannot find any pattern to explain the problem but around 30% of the images are not displayed.
I have a very large music collection that I have optimised to be shown in file list mode and from various searches I have seen other people are affected with this problem but no one has come up with a reason or solution as of yet.
I would like to turn off the image caching but it appears this cannot be done. Another thing that has never worked is the detection of a replacement image but that is a problem for another day since I can just delete the thumbnails folder to sort this out.
