XBMC USB Safely remove doesnt properly unmount usb devices

Hello

Problem:

I have devices usb device attached and mounted at boot (usbautomount) I have no entry in fstab as its not required, however when I tell xbmc to safely remove device it removes the device and in less than 1 second it remounts the device again not giving time to unplug device.

If I use command pumount /dev/sdb via console the device stays unmounted as it should.

The debug.log of the following steps
  • Select usbdrive
  • Bring up context menu
  • Choose Safely remove Device (see screenshot)

(I did remove device safely 3 times for good measure)
As described the device removed (toast dialog pops up saying device unmounted) and remounted faster than a speeding bullet all 3 times (showing respective toast dialog after the fact device mounted)

Then finally typed on terminal
Code:
pumount /dev/sdb

Device stays unmounted when using pumount command.

What is expected behaviour is when telling xbmc to remove device safely it should behave like when I type the pumount command via terminal

My install is minimal Ubuntu 12.04 - system asrock ION HT - No window managers - xbmc pre-frodo 12.0-ALPHA7 Git:20121108-3b7a2ab
