Mysql Libraries Not Scanning For New Content

i have two different machines both with the latest frodo alpha 7 snapshot both have the advancedsettings.xml and sources.xml in their userdata directory and both setup to update on startup however i have updated half a source on one machine and want to continue it on another to test that it will update new content no matter what machine is on how the scanning for new content window does appear on startup but soon dissapears without scanning anything new which i know there is new stuff in there to scan

it if i manually set it to by using context menu but won't do it automatically on startup
