A better way to move items in 'Favourites' ?

I use the main favourites feature a lot. I'm always deleting dead items, and adding other ones, rearranging the list for quick and easy access to the ones I use most.

ie When I add a new iptv channel or an a new favourite addon to it, it's at the bottom of the list. To get it to the top, so when I hit favourites, I see it first, I have to right click in windows, or long press in android, and move it up past all the other items to get to the top. Right-clicking or long pressing each move up. When there's 30 or 40 or more items it takes forever, and it's really awkward.

What about a right-click on a favourites item, or long press - and then up or down and side to side option from there to just move it right away all the way to where I want it ? That would rock.

If that is doable, would that be possible for the final release of Kodi 18 ?

KODI 17.1 Sony TV bravia

Kodi on Sony TV bravia after android update doesn't work anymore. Will you make some upgrades??
When I start Kodi it starts than at the end of starting it close.
When I start again I have just gray screen abd no button works except off.
I have already cleared cache!

NFO Files and Media Resolution & Filtering By Location

Hi,
Does TMM read the resolution entry in the NFO file? Using the TMM 2.913 Windows version, I updated my ULTRAHD media files' resolution in Edit Movie to 3840x2160, HEVC , then successfully rewrite the NFOs. I then removed a couple of these movies from the DB (keeping the NFOs) then re-imported them. However they are not reading the resolution info in the NFO. Their resolution and codec info are empty in TMM even though the NFOs has the correct resolution info. The title does import fine. I know TMM is reading the correct NFOs. As a test I changed a title to a weird name in an NFO file, and TMM did pick up my title change.  It is just not updating the resolution (and also the 3D) movie properties.

Since I am on the topic of edit, It would be nice to be able to bulk edit the resolution properties so I can change those properties at one time instead of individually. Also the ability to filer(or at least sort) by file location would be extremely helpful. I have my 3D, Blurray, DVD and UTRAHD movies in separate sub folders, which I all added using the wizard at initial start up. After importing all library at once, I discovered I could not to filter by locations to do a bulk edit on a folder. Eg. I could not isolate my movies in my 3d folder to bulk edit them as 3D.

Anyway thanks in advance for the help. I just discovered and TMM last weekend and is already a lifesaver for me. Love it and worth every penny I donated!

Amazon fire tv box lagging

Hello, i have a very annoying problem with my fire tv box. When i'm starting my iptv channels, picture start lagging and sometimes moving like i'm looking pictures.  Also  i shared movies from my laptop and for full hd same lagging problem. My connection is 75mps, using v17.6 Krypton(armv7a) . All the channels are working smoothly on my laptop. If you need more information or explanation i'll do it. Hope to find a solution.

Is it possible to output a standard-definition video with no scaling?

If playing 480i/p or 576i/p video, I would like to be able to output the video at native resolution for an external device to upscale.

Running Leia on OSMC, it's possible to set the output resolution to 576p or 480p. But if you do that, the video plays with the wrong aspect ratio, because it's assuming square pixels.

One can change the pixel ratio; but only to two decimal places’ accuracy, and you need more precision than that to get exact 1:1 pixel-mapping, source to output.

The aspect ratio looks roughly right if you change the view mode to "Stretch 16:9" - but I'm not 100% convinced il that it's genuinely skipping the entire scaling process.

Is there a way to do this? And if not, is this something that could be added?

XBOX - Skin Helper Question

Hey.. Really don't know if this correct section but seen as it's on Xbox i presume so.  So i been looking into Skin Helper on Xbox. I came come across two version's. Both Version's are 1.1.24 by "marcelveldt" the only thing different in these versions are the line 42.

However Version A: <extension library="service.py" point="xbmc.service" start="login" />
Version B:<extension library="service.py" point="xbmc.pass" start="login" />

Let me explain by using the versions "A" "B"

Version "A" works perfect. Loads up rating's, logos, wont work on Xbox at all, no matter what. 
Version "B" Shows no rating's no logos, nothing, but works on Xbox No errors in Skin helper. 

I Use Kodi on Xbox like most people with an Xbox and have a Skin Helper Error. Now i look around google for an update to see if it's my version and come across the exact same one as i had but with 1 minor change. The one above. So i thought hey give this a shot anyways.. Low and behold No Skin service error on Xbox..then it show's Version "B".. But on PC it shows Version "A" if you change the "xbmc.pass" to "xbmc.service". Now if you change "xbmc.service" to "xbmc.pass" then you see no errors on the Xbox, it just wont show ratings or, logo's from my library.

is there an explanation to this? or a fix or something out there. its kinda driving me insane trying to get things to work properly.

Android - Cast bio

I am a new user coming over from popcorn hour. I really miss going to the cast page and seeing the bio for an actor. If I select the cast member I get a list of the movies I have with them, but no bio. Did I miss a setting.

I have trailers for most of my local movies, but the show up as the movie itself.  I end up with 2 movies that look the same. Is there a way to use local stored trailers?

Is anyone not being able to use pipocas.tv for subtitles? I keep getting the same error trying to use their subtitles “failed to download subtitle” no matter which one I try from their listing

v18 - Scrollbars arnt assigned to views anymore

like learnd from confluence back in the days, i use mostly id="60" or "61" for the scrollbars in my Views.

This did always work, thil to the point where i start to update to Leia.

there are only one or two views where the scrollbars are still assignet to the list, most of the views fail.

(sorry, this is NOT  a Duplicate, in my 2 threads I reported the same about my kodi beta 3 not working then working with streams, but the other (please delete that one, not this one) was asking about Phyton 3, this one is asking about 64 bit vs 32 bit) 

Hi. Would Kodi 18 64 bit work as well as 18 32 biit with old addons when upgrading from Kodi 17? Would Kodi 18 64 bit disable or delete old addons that moved well from Kodi 17 to Kodi 18 32 bit? Thanks.

Just a feature request, but it would be awesome if we could change the highlight colour on the interface to the same defaults as Estuary.

I use orange/gold myself and would love the web interface to have a similar look Smile

OS X - Kodi 17.6 wont launch

Hi, iam new on kodi and its my first time to download it to my macbook. 
i have installed it and followed the steps, but when iam trying to lauch the app nothing happens and i get the message saying:

the last time you opened kodi, it unexpectedly quit while reopening window. do you want to try to reopen its window again? 
and when I click reopen nothing happens and the same message comes up. 

i have already reinstalled it many times but it gives me the same problem. can anyone help me? 

btw, iam using MacOS High Sierra version 10.13.6

TV 2 Sumo addon DASH DRM

Hi. I was wondering if anyone was working on a TV 2 Sumo addon? Sumo consists of a number of tv shows and live tv, including Premier League and Champions League. 

The streams are in:
Quote:320x180p25 – 328kbps
480x270p25 – 388kbps
640x360p25 – 788kbps
960x540p25 – 1928kbps
1280x720p25 – 3128kbps
1280x720p50 – 4328kbps
I spoke to them last week and they are considering upping their quality. They use Smooth Streaming, HLS, and DASH (Chrome, Firefox, Chromecast, Android).

DASH would be the most interesting. I think they use Widevine CDM. 

It should be possible to use much of the work from: https://github.com/emilsvennesson/kodi-viaplay

Is there anyone who could take a look at it? I really have no experience of this, but I use the Viaplay addon on LibreELEC and it is fantastic. The problem is that Viasat does not show PL in Norway, so I can only watch a few Champions League matches every now and then.

Play themes whilst browsing libraries when you've highlighted a movie/ TV show etc. Could this be built in instead of using addons that either don't work correctly or are not supported by the Kodi Team.

Main Menu options

Hello there,

I have divided my media on my NAS in 4 different Folders: Anime, TV Shows, Movies and Documentary. I managed to
put Movies and TVShows on the Main menu and everything works. But how do I get the other 2 in the Main?
I tried customizing the main menu and adding the tabs Anime and Docu, and said the action here should be pointing to the
media source "anime". but that doesnt work. 
Do I have to make a custom Playlist or something? 
I hope you guys can help me. 

BTW I am running latest estuary mod

Perform a manual Clean Library from the Left Sideblade Menu by selecting Clear Library under Update Library within Libraries instead on going into the main Settings -> Media -> Library then clicking on Clean Library.
